Two-years studying experience at Columbia University as a visiting Ph.D. student

Abstract: The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is an institution aiming to improve the training of creative and distinguished postgraduates and enhance the development of China’s higher education. In the past two years, Mr. Cheng Bai was sponsored by CSC to perform his research work as a visiting Ph.D. student supervised by Prof. Qiao Lin at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Columbia University in the City of New York, USA. His research interests mainly focus on surface acoustic wave-assisted microfluidic SELEX for isolation of IgE aptamers and integrated thermal control system. In the presentation, Mr. Cheng Bai will share his research and studying experience during the past two years in the USA. Besides, the living and cultural experience will also be presented.
