The China Scholarship Council (CSC) is an organization aiming to enhance the training of innovative and distinguished postgraduate students and promote the development of higher education in China. From August 2021 to August 2022, Ms. Xiaohan Li was sponsored by CSC to carry out research work as a visiting PhD student at School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) under the supervision of Prof. Chen I-Ming (the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics). This presentation will start with a brief introduction to NTU. Then a scientific and systematic report on vision-guided robotic manipulations will be presented. Finally, some life experience and perceptions of overseas study in Singapore will be shared.
